This policy explains how Athena Collective Network Incorporated (“Athena Collective”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and member platform, which third parties we work with, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains more broadly what personal data we collect and why.

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site recognize your browser, keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. We also use related technologies that work in a similar way, including browser local storage, pixels and tracking scripts. In this policy we refer to all of them as “cookies”.

How We Use Cookies

We use cookies for the following purposes:

• Strictly necessary — to sign you in and keep you signed in, to route your requests securely, and to process payments. The platform cannot work without these, so they are always on.
• Preferences — to remember choices you have made, such as dismissing a prompt or a message you have already seen.
• Analytics and product improvement — to understand which pages and features are used, where people get stuck, and what to improve. This includes session recording, described below.
• Advertising and attribution — to measure which of our ads and campaigns lead to signups, and to identify businesses visiting our public pages.
• Error monitoring — to detect and diagnose technical faults so we can fix them.

Session Recording

You should know that our analytics tooling records browsing sessions on our website and inside the member platform. A session recording captures the pages you visit and how you interact with them, including mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and text you type into the platform. Our error monitoring separately captures a short replay of activity around a technical error so we can reproduce and fix it.

We use these recordings only to understand and improve how the platform works and to diagnose faults. We do not use them to monitor individual members, and we do not capture your card details, which are entered directly on our payment processor's systems rather than ours. Third-Party Cookies We Use

Some cookies are set by service providers we use. Each of them handles data under its own privacy policy:

• Auth0 (strictly necessary) — signs you in and maintains your login session.
• Stripe (strictly necessary) — processes payments and helps detect fraudulent transactions during checkout.
• Mixpanel (analytics) — product analytics and session recording, across both our public pages and the member platform. Processed on Mixpanel's European infrastructure.
• Google Analytics (analytics) — measures website traffic and how visitors find and move through our public pages.
• Google Ads (advertising) — measures signups resulting from our advertising campaigns.
• Apollo.io (advertising and attribution) — identifies businesses visiting our public website pages. This runs on our public website and not inside the member dashboard.
• Sentry (error monitoring) — captures errors and a diagnostic replay of the activity around them. Processed on Sentry's European infrastructure.

We may add or change providers over time. When we make a material change, we will update this page and the “Last Updated” date above.

Your Choices

You can control cookies in several ways:

• Our consent banner. The first time you visit, we ask before setting anything beyond strictly necessary cookies. You can accept everything, decline everything non-essential, or choose the analytics and marketing categories separately. Nothing in those categories loads until you choose.
• Change your mind at any time. Select Cookie Preferences in the footer of any page to review or change your choices. If you withdraw a category, we reload the page so the scripts stop running immediately. We ask again every six months.
• Your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, and block third-party cookies specifically. Look under Privacy or Security in your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you from being able to sign in.
• Tracking protection. Browsers including Safari, Firefox and Brave block many analytics and session-recording scripts by default, and browser extensions and ad blockers will do the same in other browsers. This is the most effective way to stop session recording.
• Google Analytics. You can opt out across all websites using Google's browser opt-out add-on, available from Google.
• Global Privacy Control. If your browser or an extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a decision to decline non-essential cookies, and we will not prompt you. You can still opt in through Cookie Preferences if you want to.
• Ask us. You have the right to object to analytics and session recording. Email hello@athenacollective.co and we will action your request, including asking our providers to delete recordings and analytics data already associated with your account.

If you delete or refuse cookies, some features may not work as intended, we may not be able to remember your preferences, and some pages may not display properly.

Changes to Our Cookie Policy

We may change this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page and update the “Last Updated” date, and if the changes are significant we will provide a more prominent notice.
